Bulldogges are built for Weight Pulling!

Olde English Bulldogges have great tenacity and are physical powerhouses.  When you combine those two attributes you have a winning combination for weight pulling.

Dogs are fitted with specially made padded harnesses and are divided into weight classes for competitions.  Once the dogs are in their harness they are attached to a cart that is loaded with weight.  Dogs can either pull on snow, dirt, gravel or on mats indoors.  The premise is easy, the dog who pulls the most weight wins!

Most of our dogges have found weight pulling to be a great outlet for their energy as it allows them to 'work' which is what they were originally bred for.  It's an even playing field with girls playing against boys, Nutter and Tikka battled it out this summer with Nutter finishing in first place and Tikka in second in their weight classes at the Party with the Big Dogs Series.
